Looking towards Bradfield

Standing with my back to the moor when I stopped, in one of the few places possible, along  the Strines road this afternoon after delivering a set of flyers for our forthcoming PROOF printmakers exhibition at the Art House, Sheffield in June.  It's a beautiful drive, but very narrow and full od hair-pin bends at the bottom of steep slopes.  The drive back was good but going I encountered a few drivers that wanted my side of the road as well as their own.  The really good thing is that it was resurfaced for the Tour de France so it's a beautiful road to drive along, unlike many roads around here.  We're wondering if we can route a cycle race along a few of our worst roads in the hope that they'll be resurfaced.
