The meaning of raspberries

According to Wikipedia, the raspberry derives its name from raspise, "a sweet rose-coloured wine" (from the Anglo-Latin vinum raspeys) or possibly from raspoie, meaning "thicket," of Germanic origin. The name may have been influenced by its rough surface, related to Old English rasp or "rough berry".

Mostly what these raspberries mean is that I didn't find anything more interesting to photograph than my lunch.
