Tennis Monkey

Get that Monkey off your Back!

Whoop Whoop ! Well done Andy Murray. We never doubted you!

Tremendous tennis day today. It was 1936 whenBritish male tennis player, Fred Perry, last won a Slam. A typical but nerve biting match typical of Andy; entertaining and gutsy. He now deserves every plaudit he gets. This is a very physical (nearly 5 hours) and psychological - oh and tactical sport. They are on their own out there. This also demonstrates that one can learn more from failures than success. It took 4 draining attempts where he competed in the final of a Grand Slam event. This includes the disappointment of Wimbledon this year - but then the display of 'bouncebackability to win the Olympic gold medal.

I hope people will learn from this and also the new generation of students. Failure, or not living entirely up to expectations is not the end of the world. You have to keep trying, keep learning, keep fresh and you will bounce back and become stronger. We have a lot to thank Andy for today.

So - 'Fail to Win'.....and get those monkeys off your back!!
