Gullane Bents

A trip to Edinburgh this morning. The bits of business were soon over and we decided to go down the coast for a look at the water.

We stopped for coffee and cake at Falko's in Gullane - I had a piece of chocolate truffle gateau that was sinfully delicious. 

Then we walked on the beach to aid the digestion. There was hardly a soul there - not surprising when you look at the sky.

 But it didn't rain. The clouds passed over, and the sun shone on us all the way home.
