Tuesday 11 September 2012: The Pied Thrush
There was a lot of activity on the canal as I was cycling home this evening. Near Harrison Park and Meggetland there were dozens of school children practising their rowing technique (which resulted in at least one boy falling into the water). Further along the canal I saw a couple of barges. Here's one from Falkirk, called the Pied Thrush.
The Eglu Go arrived today, and so Linda and I started putting it together. We had to stop when the run got too long for the living room ;o)
