Monday 5 January 2009: Fools Gold

A cold and frosty first day back at work, with next to no light and way too many emails to go through there was no way I was getting out with my camera - I did contemplate photographing my inbox at one point. So this evening as I sat and contemplated some of the things on my desk I spotted this Ammonite, remembering that it was in a piece of stone with Iron Pyrites I thought that it might make a nice photo. I did it on a white background to start with, but then I placed it on some red tissue paper instead and preferred the colour.
