Ceiriog rainbow

A different valley today, I wasworking at home so popped out early as the weather looks set to deteriorate as the day continues.

The small settlement down to the lower right of the picture is the old mining village of Glyn Ceiriog nestled into the valley containing the river that bears the latter part of it's name. Beyond enshrouded in mist and drizzle are the foothills of the Berwyns. To the right is one of the outriders of the Clywydian range.

I was lucky to get two partial rainbows in two days but I guess it is that time of year again. Not quite as flat as yesterdays either.

I did have many possibilities but the only other one I have bothered processing thus far is this one.
