Turn a Corner, Turn a Season

It's back to that kind of weather where , as you drive along you appear to be in the middle of a bright, warm summer , then as you round the bend you drive into leaden skies and torrential rain. I took this blip shooting through the windscreen as John drove us to Balfron to pick up our grandsons for a trip to Glasgow to see Scotland play Macedonia. As they say " Hope springs eternal !"

The view is a couple of miles from our home looing over Loch Fyne to the Arrocher Alps and the infamous Rest & be Thankful. needless to say we were a bit concerned about the extremely heavy downpours over the last few days in case we had more landslides.

The least said about the game the better, particularly after reading the journalistic rhetoric. Still we are already booked up for Cardiff, Brussels and Luxembourg so we might as well go along and have a good holiday as we will be away for several weeks.
