View from Pathfoot

For the second day running I was up at the University. Stirling University is 50 years old this year. It's hard to imagine it now as the hotbed of student revolt it was then. This is the view from the now listed Pathfoot Building; a building of its time with lots of glass, internal courtyards and a great sense of space. There were baby oystercatchers in two of the courtyards - we weren't able to go outside in case we disturbed them.

The occasion was an event to mark the 40th anniversary of Stills, the photographic studio and gallery in Edinburgh. What vision the founders of Stills and the landscape designers of the Stirling campus had.

A very hot day!
