The lion sleeps tonight

Well all the time actually. And he hasn't noticed that it's raining. Only very softly just now but I think we're in for a deluge as the hot weather breaks. Maybe Maxwell will come in when it's pouring.

We're expecting a crowd of Edinburgh Marathon cheerers-on today and they'll be staying overnight. I thought we might eat al fresco tonight but I think that's off the agenda. See above.
