Planet Earth

I'm fed up of blips taken in my garden so decided to pop into space today to take a picture looking back down on West Dorset. Impressive view isn't it.
Note the layers of the atmosphere that surrounds our wonderful planet and also the small selection of stars - all close neighbours in our galaxy. If you view large far more stars will appear (the Milky Way).

I was not able to 'choose a location' today as blip seems to concentrate on our planet as opposed to off it!
