Lemon drizzle cake

Hey guys hope your all ok. Please bear with me as its another food shot! This is Betty Gilbert lemon cake and its divine and never fails. Its a wee bit chilli today got the fire on in the lounge and Ash has got his spot and looking very cosy. Not been out today as yet will probably get Ash out after tea though with Dave. Thanks again for yesterdays comments made my day.

**lemon cake**
6oz marge
6oz caster sugar
grated zest and juice of one large lemon
2large eggs beaten
6oz self-raising flour
4tbsp of milk
2tbsp of granulated sugar


place all ingredients in a large bowel apart from lemon juice and granulated sugar, mix well place in a loaf tin put in preheated oven 180 or gas 4 bake 35 mins leave to cool in tin, prick holes in top of cake then brush with the warmed lemon juice and granulated sugar mixture yum yum!
