Beach at La Baule-Escoublac

By the standards of the locals it's been a terrible day, only 20 degrees at best, and there have been actual clouds most of the day...!

Today we went to the market in the morning and then nipped out on to the see front to have a look (where this was taken) then back to the caravan for lunch. After lunch we went to Saint Nazaire to have a look round the ship yard there (no photography allowed).

I didn't get a particularly good picture of anything today, so I used Hugin to stitch together several pictures of the beach to create this rather long and wide image. The light did change a bit and the join isn't perfect but if does give a good feel of how flipping huge the beach is - the largest sandy beach in Europe they say! Best Viewed large obviously.
