Help! we're stuck!

In the hand grip strengthening putty.. ..which is really quite sticky!    There is something to add to it in a little while that will make it harder to squeeze and I assume less sticky.

All the warm clothes and the hiking stick are packed and ready by the front door for our week adventure starting tomorrow….except for this putty which I will stick in the camera bag (in it’s plastic case) but leaving the dinosaurs at home.
