Kenmore

A day of dodging the weather with the group. We were ferried around by a fleet of ten land rovers for a series of activities. First stop was close to the top of Drummond Hill overlooking Fortingall and the foot of Glen Lyon. Although there had been showers on the way the sun came out as we arrived for a demonstration of traditional Highland clothing and weaponry. After that a short walk around the hill to this viewpoint overlooking Kenmore, where we ended up for lunch. In the afternoon the group did some white water rafting - having seen them off at the start I waited close to the finish at Grandtully to get some more shots. And then it was back to Gleneagles for a Scottish Dinner, kilts for all the men in the party, tartan sashes to complement their dresses for the women. With a brief falconry demonstration and a piping in of the haggis / toast to the haggis thrown in for good measure. A perk of this particular job is that I get to eat the same food as everyone else, so I have been dining exceptionally well!!
