Lichens and Mosses

On the trail to Burnt Lake there are many old burned out cedars. They are so old that these mosses and lichens had grown on one of them. Very beautiful. It was a salubrious day walking under the forest canopy to Burnt Lake with Mt. Hood in the distance.
