Summer solstice

I saw dawn break and sort of saw the sun rise whilst at work this morning. Today being the summer solstice. The ward at work is ridiculously hot in this weather, so much so that for safety reasons we had to close one of the 4 bedded bays as it was 33°C! We are trying to argue our case for air conditioning!
A few hours of broken sweaty sleep today before attending a PTA meeting at school and collecting Theo from his martial arts club. And of course more playing in the paddling pool!
And then watching the sun set - or at least disappear behind the houses. A beautiful summer solstice.
