Raglan Castle Walk

We've done this circular walk around Raglan castle a few times and on every occasion have gone wrong. Some of the footpaths are overgrown, stiles missing and the map not well descripted. We ended up doing 7 miles instead of 5; it was no hardship as the weather was lovely - warm and dry with a slight breeze.

On the way back to the castle I took the blipfoto as we walked towards the rear of the castle. I know the farm well and the brother of the owner, Richard, has a farm in my village. A lovely family.

At the end of the walk we used our Cadw cards for entry to the castle where I wandered around taking some photos whilst Mrs BB read her novel. She finds castles a big yawn!
