today we had a talk from the head of our new industrial design department. he took the opportunity to discuss his interests and the direction he's planning to take the ID department in. the chat also served as a reminder of the fact that everything in our world is designed -from huge jetliners to my tiny earphones here. i wonder who sculpted these things and who designed the little drivers which produce the sound on such a small scale? it's pretty impressive when you think about it.
