Some might say...

... there is never a dull moment at a Horse Race meeting. But I encountered quite a few such moments at Ripon Races this evening.

Even perusing the crowd of racegoers (as I tend to do) produced few outstanding victims characters to photograph. 

Part of tonight's gathering included a fancy dress contest. But one can never be absolutely certain which racegoers are competing and which genuinely 'dressed to be seen'.

I'm pretty sure this chap was a competitor but I wasn't altogether sure about the extras.

There were some horses racing as well!
