My first day of teaching always starts with a block day as we get a new cohort of the course underway. So a busy day, but satisfying work. I built in a short campus walk this year, following the same route that I take when I'm out looking for blips. We talked about how the campus space influences learning, and whether a bunch of strangers coming together in one space can make it into a place, and how we can help to develop a sense of belonging.

And then there was a butterfly.

My one year ago is one of my favourites.
