Norman's garden

I went lovely walk with Emma and Belle in Bushy park this morning and then I decided to visit Norman at Laurel Dene, I arrived just the right time as he was heading out to the garden, we spent about half an hour together, he is 94 this year, he is deaf and has no legs but fiercely independent in a motorised chair. He was Mums best friend in the nursing home having arrived one week after her, we communicated by me writing and him talking, he is a staunch Quaker and had a lot of words of comfort for me about Mum's death, he also spoke a lot about his own parents and their passing.
I spent the afternoon doing paperwork and began the process of sorting out Mum's will…
