Downy Woodpecker

We drove up to Tamworth this afternoon, for tomorrow's Boyden family reunion. With all the family houses occupied (including our usual one at Brookland), we landed at a B&B very nearby, where by good fortune all three of my sons  are staying as well (with Raphael's Nate and Len's Ella--all their ladies are otherwise occupied).  We had dinner together, with my brother Bill and his wife Mary Kay--a very enjoyable Van de Graaff mini-reunion.  The B&B had a bird feeder with a wide assortment of birds in attendance.
