Brewin'....

It seems the white noise make by the wind kept the SBG sleeping until 7.30. Fantastic!

It was still pretty windy when we got up, and there was the added excitement of seeing a tree, brought down by the wind (albeit a small, spindly one). Too windy to get the gas stove out, so we got ready, jumped in the car, and headed out for breakfast before driving through to Oban for the day, to see Iain's folks.

The kids enjoyed seeing Granny and Grandad, as well as our traditional visit to Waterstones to spend holiday money.

Mid afternoon we said our goodbyes and headed back to the Red Squirrel campsite, via the shop to pick up food for dinner.

The skies had begun to darken and the wind showed no sign of letting up....so dinner in the tent, followed by putting some of our things back into the car...just in case.

More Harry Potter, reading in the tent by torchlight....and then the rain began.
