Captain on Christian Radich

A classic fullrigger as like Christian Radich is not the easiest to be a captain  on. Everything is done manual. 

The ship has three mast, 27 sails and 1360 m2 sail area.  200 ropes that are total 9 km long.  The total length with bowsprit is 73 m, width 9,5 m, air draught  4,7 m and air draught 37,7 m.Total weight, deplacements is 1050 ton. The crew is 17 persons, some volunteers  and up to 80 trainees. 


Captain Fridtjof Jungeling is a great at his work and has a lot of humour too.
