Urn at home

Tired after my day at the cafe i went for a walk down through the woods to the river. Although it was a dynamic evening of sunshine and shadow and wind swishing the branches I couldn't  capture the light - until I got home again and saw this old urn flanked by dried columbine stalks.
It's a strange time of the year as plants race  towards seedset and  fruit swells and ripens almost perceptibly. Sloes and blackberries are still green but  clusters of arum berries already glow red in the hedge and rowan berries are changing colour by the day.
