Cupcake-making @ 2300hrs......

Well it's my folks Golden Wedding Anniversary tomorrow and so we're having a modest celebration. Sixteen family and friends are meeting for lunch at a local hotel which overlooks the water meadows and Cathedral, followed by cake and fizz back here. Unfortunately I hate fruit cake, hence the making of cupcakes, albeit very late in the day. The trouble is the recipe should have made 24 and I've got 48 but only 24 gold dragees! Solution..... children!!! The two older ones are about to go back to uni so I'm not anticipating them going to waste. Too late to ice so I'll blip the finished product tomorrow..... night all..... zzzzzzzz
