Saturday 22 September 2012: Dry.
It feels like it has been a dry winter in Brisbane. Looking at my weather station I see there is no rain registered at all for the month of August. September, nothing up until this week when we saw 8mm. I don't remember seeing lots of dry dead plants and lawn last year but there is this year.
Here's how my weather station saw the rainfall this year:
January - 270mm
February - 104mm
March - 87mm
April - 80mm
May - 36mm
June - 83mm
July - 42mm
August - 0mm
September - 8mm
