Carrot Blossom

Back to Connecticut for a few days.  This beautiful green blossom is on top of a carrot plant that self-seeded in the vegetable garden from plants that never did much last year.  It was a pleasant surprise to see these volunteers show up!  I love how ornate the clusters of umbels look.

An hour of sadistic physical therapy this afternoon.  The therapist is a very unpleasant person, and I just wanted to kick her under the table for most of my time in her clutches.  I made do instead with sticking my tongue out at her when her back was turned!
