Sunday 23 September 2012: Essentials...

A very quick blip. Off to Devon in a short while. Dull and misty here this morning and I will be heading south into pouring rain! Packing my bag; just have to make sure I have all the various gadgets to keep my phone, iPad, camera and toothbrush working!
Why can't we have one gizmo to charge the lot?


Not really a holiday trip as our elderly aunt (91 next month) has decided to move to a local care home. Much relief to my cousin and me so I am helping the move - and making sure she is installed! Betty is the last of our mother's family and as J lives fairly near to her she has had much more of the responsibility than I have.

On the 1st of September we were in Southampton celebrating the 70th birthday of our cousin C. 2 weeks before he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he died much sooner than expected last Saturday. We will be going to his funeral in Southampton on Thursday.
