CATTLE

(There were some real ones nearby, honest - proper Highland coos they were, too!)

Had a fairly slow start to the day, then Tim arrived late morning.  We had a cuppa and a bit of lunch, then we walked into town with my Mum on her scooter - took the scenic route down the edge of Tor Woods, and came across this sign, sculpture and some actual cattle, too.  We had a little look at the market, then went for a coffee in the café which now occupies the premises where my sister used to have her shop.  Odd to be back in there so many years later, in such a different setting.  Nice though.

We scooted back to Mum's and had a bit of a rest for the remainder of the afternoon, then got spruced up and went back out for dinner in the town - at the Thai restaurant.  Delicious food, and I ate far too much of it, but it was just too lovely not to!  Came back to Mum's and had a couple of drinks, then headed to bed fairly early for a damn good sleep.
