Sunset

Haven't posted very many Clyde Coast sunsets this summer but couldn't resist tonight!

Had a quiet morning with knitting and period drama, quick brunch once everyone was up then out to our Guild AGM. It wasn't very well attended but the faithful few who were there were very pleased with all we've achieved since we started up and are looking forward to another good year. The rest of the afternoon was spent spinning, I could feel the stress drain away as we drank tea, ate cake and had a good blether while stroking and smooshing lots of lovely fluff.

Spent a lovely hour or so in the kitchen with Carlos while he cooked dinner, he was much more confident tonight and created a delicious Spanish style Chicken Bake which looked exactly like the one in the Hairy Dieters book and tasted great too. It was while we were waiting for it to come out the oven that Noah and I stood on the front step and watched the sun go down.

After dinner we all took it easy, snuggled on the sofa with a couple of documentaries, I feel a bit coldy and my back and my joints hurt so plan on having a very lazy day off tomorrow before getting back into the fray on Tuesday. At least it's not long til the October week :D
