Sunday 1 April 2007: One barbecue doesn't make a summer
The electricians came yesterday to rewire for the impending kitchen, so now we have no cooker till the gas is (hopefully) installed on Thursday.
A hard day stripping artex and wallpaper and removing door frames etc. Not as exciting as last weekend but felt almost as strenuous...
Weather was beautiful, so we celebrated our cooker-free status with the first Barbecue of the Summer. (No fooling). Ate it sitting on our bench in the sun in T-shirts at 5.30pm.
