Sunday 23 September 2012: Birthdays Galore...

Today was Alex Shaw's 2nd birthday, it was also Evie & Marley's Darke Family birthday tea party and Max's (Ferguson's Pre-School friend) football birthday party.

To manage them all in the space of one day was a logistical impossibility.
I took the executive decision to miss out on Alex's birthday. Here is not the place to go into it, but I feel incredibly let down by my so-called "Best Friends" recently, so I decided to spend time with those people who spend their time on me.

Alexander cooked an amazing orange ham joint and I made Evie & Marley a suite of Cookie Monster cakes. It was a hectic build up but nice.
Off to Max's party, where Ferguson didn't quite understand the tactics of football and ran over to me, waiting on the sidelines, with his little heart beating like crazy, upset that he couldn't get near the ball.
He had lots of fun and I'm glad he spent the afternoon there running about with his friends. It was all very cute and made me realise (again!!) how much he's growing up!
