Ben Vrackie

The rain poured down overnight and the wind howled all night..... so it was with trepidation that we set out with Midweek Walkers to Dunkeld where we were walking. The rain was still coming down, although not too heavily, and we got into our wet gear and headed out from Baledmund over the hills to Loch Ordie. As we approached the loch to our surprise the rain stopped and the sun came out!!! It was amazing. So we had a dry lunchtime, and a nice afternoon. As we walked back to Baledmund we had a nice view of Ben Vrackie at Pitlochry. After our walk we headed into Dunkeld for a drink at the local hotel before heading home.

Apart from the rain in the morning, a great day. Actually, once you get used to it, walking in the rain ain't so bad!!!
