Something to cheer me up

More and more packing. Surely we must be almost done?
A better day than the last couple in that about 3pm we found out that contracts on both sides had been exchanged.
The good news (?) is that we move out on the 31st (next Thursday - eeek!).
The bad news is that we can't move in until 4th September. It was a stalemate with our buyer and our seller (although there is no chain in either direction, as buyer is currently staying with relatives and seller is moving to a house which they have owned for years). Anyway - we were the ones who gave in, and will move on the day, but put everything into storage, so that's another large expense plus all our things have to be man-handled twice as many times. As my son pointed out on a long and tearful Skype session (tearful from me that is, not him) "It's only "things" Mum. Don't get so upset."  He's right of course, but we've had a pretty dire couple of weeks all in, what with a health scare etc.
So anyway, I digress -  this is the back of a chalk board which we have in the kitchen. A couple of our son's friends wrote this message on the back when he had his leaving party when he went off to Taiwan almost 14 years ago. I didn't have the heart to rub it off when we moved house nearly 11 years ago. The funny thing is that both of those friends have since become quite famous in their particular field, and one is now married to someone that you would definitely have heard of, and is very famous and very beautiful. (Don't even try to guess as I wouldn't say even if you were correct. )
It made me laugh when it came to light again. As it's on the reverse side it can stay hidden for another few years. I'm still not going to rub the message off,  seeing as it cheered me up!
