Tawny Eagle

Had to pick up something in Cumbernauld this afternoon. Didn't catch the flying demo at the nearby centre so its just a portrait type shot.

These are usually fairly static as the birds just sit there waiting to be fed and occasionally preening themselves, so it was nice of this one to give me a shout.
