Wild and stormy night

We didn't get much sleep last night. We assumed wrongly that the pontoon at Tobermory would be sheltered from the worst of the forecast gale - in fact we have now learnt that pontoons in gales are a bad idea. This photo only gives a mere suggestion of the forces at work and how the pontoon twists and rolls and how the boats twist and roll in completely different directions ....... we live and learn!
