Duck/bird?

Stopped off at the local pond to look at the swans and cygnets, this duck/bird decided to come over and say hello (such strange patterning to its feet). :)

Skype chat with our daughter and grandson thus afternoon - Caleb has just learnt to wave but like all children don't perform to order :). They have started the big pack for the move back to the uk, all photos/pictures taken off the walls and a major declutter of belongings. Not long now!

Took my sewing machine in for a service today (took it to a local chap as the mai. Shop is in the main town, a pain to park and the chap isn't that friendly (just has an unusual manner). Fingers crossed no problems (this chap is cheaper ....) the only recommendation I have is my friend who passed away this year used to use him, which is good enough for me :)
