Dusk fields

I got away from work in reasonable time today, so an unexpected chance to head out and take a few shots before the sun went down. There was a lovely soft feeling to the light, picking up the haze in the air. A few minutes later and the sun had dropped leaving everything in shadow and looking very flat.

Oddly enough, although I've got my 'main' lens back this was taken on my long lens (with extender) and cropped. Maybe I'm just not seeing wider angle at the moment. A bit of practice needed I think :-)
