Built to cut groundnut cake imported from Africa in the days when the Empire supplied much of our food and animal feeding stuffs

Pulleys, gears and rollers mounted on a cast iron frame. Probably built to order and built by local agricultural engineer, Charles Weir of Strathaven. Date? say early 1900's
