AMBI AND BOFFI

Two Military macaws, 17 and 11 years old. They were held in a cage, how terribly to learn this, like the ones hotels use to collect their dirty laundry in.
They always sit together now, in my photo one of the two is preening herself vigorously. My picture made. me smile when I saw it.
Now they live, rescued, in the largest cage at the Papageienhof. Of course we went today there again. And it was a nice visit again as the weather was great.
But that did not stay later when we walked from the Hazelhof through the fields. First a bit on a hill, then going down till we reached the valley, and then it started to rain, at first just a little bit, but later it poured. We had to seek a shelter under some low trees.
When the sun came out again, there was a nice rainblow, bridging two hills. The sun did dry us in time.
We saw although far from where we stood, a deer with a young one, eating the fresh green plants in a field.
Later they moved to the forest, where they were much safer, I hope.
