JAKOBSBERG REVISITED

In the morning my neighbour came for our dutch conversation and reading.
Always a pleasant time spend together.
Piet Hein suggested that we would drive today for the second time to Jakobsberg, to take photos of the horses, that I could use for the Wild Wednesday Challenge. And another reason he gave was that he wanted to find out where we had gone wrong in the paths we had gone.
I was a bit surprised but agreed heartely. Only that we should take a different road, driving first to Langenthal, Haarbrück and from there to Jakobsberg, a less exiting road, but I like it  more that way.
We parked at the church, and walked along the street where we could take a path that went downhill.
We asked advice of a man standing in his garden, if this path would lead to the horses. He looked surprised, was this an odd question?
Piet Hein made a gesture as if he held a camera before his eyes, and said, for taking photos. That happily made sense.
Along the path another man in his garden, asked if everything was allright. Yes, we said, we are on our way to the horses. Raising his brows, what were we up to? And Piet Hein answered again, taking photos of the horses.
Now he also understood. And we said we liked his beautiful view, seeing Dalhausen deep down in the valley.
With good weather, the man said, that he could have a view as far as Sauerland.
We came at the field where the four horses were. They all came to the fence, and we stayed there for some time.
Then we walked back to the village and decided to walk the Stations of the Cross, but now in the other direction. A nice path with views over the hills, or mountains if you like.
We did not complete it, a bit of a drizzle rain made us take a short cut.

Huge thanks to Cailleach for hosting this fabulous challenge.
