Farnes Islands - Northumberland

Took the boat trip across to the island getting very disappointed as the fog was getting thicker and thicker the nearer we got , but to my delight when we moored this beautiful seal pup awaited us being very inquisitive. I was overcome with excitement and had not noticed the lighthouse the other way but the fog was so thick we could hardy see it . Off the boat we got and walked to the lighthouse, and then the guide said once you get inside the lighthouse have a good explore my eyes filled up with delight as I didn't think we would get inside , it was amazing . Soooo happy. I may take the boat again once the fog has gone to see if I can get a good shot of the lighthouse. I have added an extra of the seal pup .
