Landsberg am Lech

We stayed the night near the relatively infant Donau (Danube), before heading south to the lovely little town of Landsberg am Lech. We found some free parking west of the Lech and wandered into town for a walk around. German shops are shut on Sundays, but the cafes are open and we sat and had morning tea in the sun. Surprisingly the tourist information was open so we picked up a walking tour of the town and were able to go up one of the old towers on the walls to see the town from above. The blip is the Lech going over a weir by the old town; the extras are a person on a floatation device just below the weir and a rather fine sculpture near the Stadtmuseum (town museum).
