The Goal

This is the park where sometime in the early seventies I took to the field for the 61st Stirlingshire Cub Scouts. Over ninety minutes later I was bundled into the car and taken home still in my kit and thrown into a bath to thaw out. I think it may have been my last ever competitive game of football. Today was a day like that day. I wasn't wearing shorts so it was OK.
