Grand Hotel Tremezzo

As this is our last full day we decided to take a trip over to Menaggio after having put some boxes down in the cellar. We still have some work to do tomorrow but we are in pretty good shape for our departure.

The photo shows the Grand Hotel Tremezzo as we pass the village of Tremezzo. This is one of the five star hotels on the Lake, it probably ranks second to the Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, but even so is often frequented by celebrities staying at the lake. It offers a good view of Bellagio as well as the usual five star facilities.

It was a nice day, sunny though the breeze is still quite cool. We managed a drink in the sunshine at the Hotel du Lac before returning to Lenno on the bus. Dinner at the Ranch in the evening.
