Hornets nest!

Walking across Wimbledon common today, one of the trees was cordoned off with metal barriers and a sign "Warning, Hornets nest".

Of course, I had to take a closer look ... Sorry - just a phone pic!

Plenty of hornets too, but they were a little dopey as it was still early morning.
