The art of the sausage

Firstly, yes it's an awful photo. I was walking with some friends and barely stopped to snap this. It's a local shop premises that has been given over for use as an art space for as long as I can remember.

Some Most of the art works are curious and unusual. This one is fairly obviously on a spanish sausage (chorizo) theme.

Whether it has any deeper significance I can only guess.
