Stars
The heavens spun round In their dizzying motion,
But something was happening which caused them to pause.
In that one moonlit moment, time stopped for an instant
The stars waited breathless to see what would pass.
Below sat a couple, timid and fearful,
Afraid of their feelings but the time now had come.
They confessed to each other, that this might be special.
It might be the real thing. That this could be love.
Then time gave a sigh and Venus sat smiling
The moon gave a wink to the Earth far below
The heavens swung back into spiralling motion
As their lucky stars swirled round them like snow.
